Condition Report

A tourmaline and diamond dress ring. The oval-shape pinkish orange tourmaline collet, to the pave-set diamond panel, with tapered band and grooved sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Weight 5.9gms.

  • Overall condition very good.
  • Band shows evidence of repair/ resize.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Scattered inclusions, some surface reaching.

  • Tourmaline is a medium slightly brownish, pinky orange hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and relatively small, slight inclusions. Noticeable window effect.

  • Tourmaline in good condition with minor abrasion.

  • Estimated dimensions of tourmaline:11 by 7.7, by 2.9mms.
