Condition Report

Two 18ct gold diamond single-stone rings. Each designed as a brilliant-cut diamond, to the bifurcated shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct, I-K colour, VS2-SI2 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1978 and Birmingham, 1991. Weight 5.7gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear.
  • Evidence of resizing.
  • Diamonds bright, assessed within the limits of the mount. Smaller diamond has slightly more a yellow hue than the larger one. Larger diamond has a small dark inclusion visible under the table facet under magnification. Smaller diamond has a feather near to the girdle, easily visible under magnification.
  • Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion.

  • Ring sizes H and H1/2. One stamped 42.
