Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Day-Date bracelet watch. Circa 1978. Reference 18038, serial 5729562. Signed automatic calibre 3055. Champagne dial with diamond hour markers, day and date apertures to twelve and three. Fluted bezel, 18ct yellow gold case fitted to a signed 18ct yellow gold President bracelet with Crownclasp. 35mm. Please be aware that this item has had significant aftermarket intervention.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
  • Third party dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches, some lifting of the laminate visible to the naked eye.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint. The minute hand has lost some of the luminous paint.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 17cm including case.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
