Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond five-stone ring. The graduated old-cut diamond line, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.35cts, J-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 3.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of resize. Later added hallmark. Stamped 18ct Plat.
  • Diamonds fairly bright, differ slightly in appearance. Slight yellow hues. Principal diamond estimated 0.45ct, light feather and scattered inclusions visible under magnification.
  • Outer diamonds with large to significant surface reaching light and dark inclusions, visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair condition with some significant nicks and v-shape nicks.
  • Ring size M1/2.
