Condition Report

An 18ct gold emerald and diamond ring. The pear-shape emerald and brilliant-cut diamond, each within a collet setting, to the scrolling shoulder and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for Dublin, 1995. Weight 6.8gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Area of minor discolouration to the inner band.
  • Diamond bright. Dark inclusion located under the table facet, visible under magnification.
  • Diamond in good condition with minor abrasion.

  • Setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emerald medium green. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.

  • Stone in fair condition with noticeable abrasion and nicks to the facets and facet edges.
