Condition Report

Two early 20th century 9ct gold gem-set pendants. To include a garnet-top-doublet and seed pearl scrolling pendant, an openwork asymmetric turquoise cabochon pendant, together with chain. Length of pendants 4.4 and 5cms. Length of chain 46cms. Total weight 5.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Surface scratches, small dents and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The turquoise pendant has a replacement surmount hoop.
  • The garnet-top doublet has soft solder repair to the back, with two sections unattached. Localised scratches and discolouration.
  • The turquoise are significantly discoloured from age and wear, one with a large chip.
  • Garnet-top-doublets have light surface scratches.
  • Seed pearls with blemishes and slight nacre damage.
  • Chain stamped 375.
