Condition Report

A late 19th century 18ct gold gem-set memorial brooch. Of oval outline, the circular turquoise cabochon and split pearl shaped cross, to the embossed surround, with rope-twist and bead accents. Length 4cms. Weight 10.3gms.

    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. General slight discolouration. Small dents to the bead accents. Base metal pin and replacement safety chain. Plastic reverse with photograph. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for Coloured Gemstones. One blue gem replacement, possible paste, minor abrasion. Turquoise well matched with very slight matrix inclusions.
