ROLEX - a lady's Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 1983. Stainless steel case with yellow metal fluted bezel. Reference 69173, serial 8231614. Signed automatic calibre 2135. Champagne dial with diamond dot hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed bi-metal Jubilee bracelet with stainless steel Oysterclasp. 25mm. Box. Purchasing information- Movement is currently functioning.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
- Third party dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Evidence of refinishing to the text which has been applied badly.
- Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
- Glass has noticeable scratches and marks. Sapphire crystal is a later replacement and not original to the watch.
- Case shows light scratches and marks. Evidence of possible previous repolishing.
- Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
- Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.Evidence of possible previous repolishing.
- Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marksEvidence of possible previous repolishing.
- Bracelet measures approximately 16.5cm including case.
This lot comes with a box with pronounced wear and marks but no papers.
