Condition Report

A 9ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The brilliant-cut diamond, within a single-cut diamond scrolling surround, to the plain band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.50ct, K-L colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1987. Weight 2.8gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Polished to a high finish.
  • Possibly a replacement half-band.
  • Localised scratches to the inside of the band by the hallmark, with a slightly sharp edge.
  • Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient to the principal diamond.
  • Remaining diamonds estimated total weight less than 0.10ct.
  • Stamped RJT.
