Condition Report

A late 19th century French serpentine-fronted marquetry tea caddy, the quarter-veneered kingwood or rosewood cover centred by a brass scroll-edged cartouche within scroll lozenge and rectangular ærope-twistÆ border, all finely edged with brass stringing, the front with conforming border, the whole enclosing two lidded compartments, on turned feet, 10ö x 5ö x 6ö high, (25cm x 13cm x 15cm).
