Condition Report
A pair of early 20th century Burmese ruby and diamond ear pendants. Each designed as a cushion-shape ruby drop, suspended from two graduated old-cut diamonds. Accompanied by report number 5775-1992, dated 14th May 2015, from The Gemmological Certification Services, stating the rubies are Burmese and have no indication of heat treatment. Estimated total ruby weight 2.80cts. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct, I-J colour, SI-P1 clarity. Length 2cms. Weight 2.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

- Estimated dimensions: 6.9 by 5.7 by 3.4mms and 6.6 by 5.9 by 3.3mms.
- Rubies have pink to red body colour, moderate clarity with crystal inclusions, some iron staining and angular colour zoning visible.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Diamonds bright.
- One larger diamond with fine fracture reaching surface, to edge of stone.
- Earring fittings are for pierced ears.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
