A George III silver mug with embossed decoration.

Condition Report

A George III silver mug of slightly tapering form to a skirted base and having a foliate capped double scroll handle, engraved initials to one side and later floral and scroll embossing. Hallmarked John Kidder, London 1784. Height measures 4 7/8 inches (12.5 cm), weight 10.44 ozt (324.6 grams).

Purchasing information
    The mug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some small dints and bumps and slight knocks to foot rim. The base of the handle is a little compressed and an impression is visible to the interior. Also a very slight impression from the top of the handle. The hallmarks are clear and legible, they are located to the underside of the base.
