A modern silver-gilt cast four branch candelabrum in the manner of Paul de Lamerie, on an octagonal base with incurved corners, embellished with shells, foliage, scrolls and diaperwork and rising to a tapering central column decorated with overlapping rocaille motifs and with projecting shells at each shoulder, the removable upper section having a central socket flanked by four branches and further decorated with foliate scrolls. Hallmarked C J Vander Ltd., London 1982. Maximum height measures 18 1/4 inches (46.5 cm), gross weight 183.32 ozt (5702 grams).

Purchasing information-
The candelabrum appears in good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Residues of polish are visible and heavier tarnishing to some areas. Some heavier contact marks. The hallmarks are located to the base and are clear and legible, also part hallmarks of the lion passant and date letter to removable section.
