Condition Report

Two gem-set rings. To include a rectangular-shape emerald and old-cut diamond three-stone ring, together with an early 20th century 18ct gold single-cut diamond five-stone ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Total weight 4.6gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Five-stone band has been resized.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emerald medium green to blue green body colour, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Emerald is heavily abraded, with scratches to table facet, nibbles and chips to edges and curved sides from general wear.

  • Ring sizes M 1/2 and L 1/2.

  • The first stamped 18ct plat. The second stamped 18ct.
