Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold diamond two-stone crossover ring. The old and brilliant-cut diamond collets, to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Weight 2.3gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Evidence of resizing and repair to the band. Patch of discoloration to the back of the outer band. Some wear to the settings, possible replacement stones.

  • Diamonds bright, differ slightly in appearance. One has slightly more of a yellow hue than the other. Scattered inclusions visible under magnification.

  • Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Ring size J. Stamped 18ct.
