An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst necklace. Comprising a graduated hexagonal-shape amethyst line, to the plated spring ring clasp. Length 40cms. Total weight 36gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement clasp, base metal.
- Wear to the gilt finish.
- Amethyst are a fairly well matched medium slightly pinkish purple hue, with slight variations in tone and saturation. Good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Principal amethyst with nick to one corner.
- Amethyst range from approximately 12.5 to 5.5mms in length.
