A late 19th century 15ct gold opal and synthetic ruby hinged bangle. The circular-shape synthetic ruby and graduated circular opal cabochon crescent surround, to the scrolling foliate asymmetric terminal bangle. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 11.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

- Setting for synthetic ruby is broken and claws need attention.
- Synthetic ruby medium redish-pink, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Opals light body coolour displaying green and blue play of colour evenly throughout the stones.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
