Condition Report

A late 19th century 15ct gold opal and synthetic ruby hinged bangle. The circular-shape synthetic ruby and graduated circular opal cabochon crescent surround, to the scrolling foliate asymmetric terminal bangle. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 11.5gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Areas of discolouration under the crescent.

  • Opals light body coolour displaying green and blue play of colour evenly throughout the stones.
