Condition Report

A pair of amethyst and diamond cluster earrings. Each designed as a cushion-shape amethyst, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround. Length 1.5cms. Weight 9.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear.

  • Evidence of alteration, hinged back fittings likely a later addition.

  • Amethyst well matched.

  • Amethyst have a high domed checkerboard cut.

  • Amethyst patchy light purple to colourless, medium to no saturation with good clarity and no obvious inclusions.

  • Amethyst in good condition with some minor abrasion to some facet edges.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright and lively.

  • Diamonds slightly tinted brown.

  • Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification.

  • Diamonds in good to fair condition with minor abrasions, some show slight nibbles and very small chips to facet edges.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment.

  • With fixed posts and clip fittings for pierced ears.
