Condition Report

A mid 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with brilliant-cut diamond sides and crossover shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Weight 2.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One broken claw. Setting may benefit from attention.

  • Personal inscription to inside of band 'M.M.E - R.A.W 29.3.56'.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphire medium blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stone in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Ring size L 1/2.

  • Stamped 18ct and plat.
