Condition Report

An 18ct gold diamond and emerald miniature portrait brooch. The oval portrait depicting a lady in profile, with single-cut diamond and emerald jewellery highlights, to the textured undulating surround. May be worn as a pendant. Import marks for London, 1979. Length 4.1cms. Weight 11.4gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small areas of discolouration in keeping with general wear. Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.05ct. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The emerald appears in overall good condition, enclosed within the framed portrait. The bottom of the painting is discoloured on the dress. Length does not include additional tapered surmount pendant loop of 0.9cms. Stamped Italy. Width 3.3cms.
