A mid 20th century 18ct gold opal five-stone ring. The graduated oval opal cabochon line, with diamond point spacers, to the scrolling gallery. Diamond point spacers deficient. Weight 4.8gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear.

  • Ring resized, slightly out of round.

  • Many diamond points deficient.

  • Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.01ct.

  • One opal replacement, slightly different shape, significantly less play of colour.

  • Most opals good play of colour showing predominately green and blue hues.

  • Opals in poor condition with significant abrasion.

  • Ring size I 1/2.
