Condition Report

An opal bracelet. Designed as a series of replacement oval opal cabochons, each set atop five bar links, to the push-piece clasp. Length 19cms. Weight 14.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general wear.
  • Opals are white body colour with red, blue and green play-of-colour. Opals fairly well matched in colour.
  • Size of opals varies.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • The opal collets have visible solder repair/alterations, possibly a later addition.
  • Some links slightly out of shape.
  • Glue visible to a number of the opals surround.
  • Stamped 9ct.
