Condition Report

A diamond and enamel brooch. The old-cut diamond, raised within a stepped series of similarly-cut diamond and black enamel accent star and textured scrolling surrounds. Estimated total diamond weight 8.50 to 9cts, J-tinted colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Diameter 5.1cms. Weight 26.8gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Diamonds not well matched, varied colour and scattered, varying inclusions, some eye visible.
  • Individual size and setting of some diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
