Condition Report

BAUME & MERCIER - a gentleman's Riviera chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference 65638, serial 4810185. Signed automatic calibre BM13750 with quick date set. Black dial with orange Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed black fabric strap with stainless steel double folding clasp. 42mm. Box and papers.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition. Orange on the hands appear to be in a dark tone of orange than the numerals.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows some scratches, marks and small dints.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and small scratches.

    This lot comes with a box and papers which include a guarantee card dated 22/12/12. Box shows marks.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
