Condition Report
A late 19th century gold garnet and diamond brooch. Of circular outline, the rose-cut diamond star, to the circular garnet cabochon and grooved surmount, with tassel fringe. Length 6.2cms. Weight 10.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamond is bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation
- medium red well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Four pieces of fringe are missing, one has snapped.
