Condition Report

Two late Victorian gold brooches. To include an oval memorial brooch, the central woven hair panel with split pearl surround, together with a rectangular onyx brooch with scrolling split pearl centre and bead edge detail. Lengths 3 and 3.7cms. Weight 7.6gms.

    This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The glass to the oval-shape brooch is cracked through the width, to the centre. Onyx brooch with very light chip to onyx edge.
