An early 19th century paste silver gilt brooch. The rose-cut paste cluster, within a similarly-set spiral surround. Later brooch fittings. Length 4.4cms. Weight 14.8gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Significant wear to gilt finish.
  • Converted from a buckle, buckle fittings base metal, dented and currently unusable but remain.
  • Paste show deterioration to the foil backing.
  • Minor abrasion.
