A late 19th century gold amethyst and split pearl hinged bangle. The front designed as a split pearl within a stair motif, inset to the raised circular amethyst cabochon and scroll engraved sides. Inner diameter 6.5cms. Weight 24.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Split pearl surround is raised one peg, attention needed.
- amethyst medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- split pearls are replacement
- pearls have not been tested for natural origin
- safety chain deficient
- Central dome fitting appears secure, but can be lifted out of the collet surround - in need of attention.
