Condition Report

An early to mid-twentieth century silver tray, the oval body with central presentation inscription and reeded rim embellished with shells. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1939. Maximum length measuring 22 1/4 inches (56.5 cm), weight 79.6 ozt (2477 grams). 'Presented to Walter Burrows Esq by the Officials and workmen of Grimethorpe Colliery as a token of esteem and respect on his retirement after 28 years service June 1940.'
