Condition Report

A cultured pearl and diamond pendant. The openwork scrolling panel, set throughout with old and rose-cut diamonds, suspending a cultured pearl, to the old-cut diamond trefoil surmount and fine-link chain. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 2.35cts. Length of pendant 4.9cms. Length of chain 42cms. Weight 13.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear.

  • Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched for colour and clarity.

  • Diamonds bright and lively.

  • Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with the naked eye, some of which are surface reaching.

  • Diamonds in mostly good condition with minor abrasions, some have small chips and nibble to the facet edges.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment.

  • Cultured pearl, silvery grey, with green and purple overtones and good lustre.

  • Cultured pearl in good condition with some minor surface abrasion.

  • Chain stamped near clasp 750.
