A New Zealand jade carved hei matau by Paddy Cooper. Representing a stylised fish hook and symbolising strength, good luck and safe travel over water. Length 8.5cms. Weight 53.5gms.

This lot is in good condition, with light scratches to the New Zealand jade in keeping with age and wear. New Zealand jade is mottled green to yellow-brown in appearance.
