Condition Report

A George III gold and paste memorial ring. The woven hair panel, within a paste border, to the tapered band. Fifteen pastes deficient. Personal inscription to reverse reads, P McL Ob 15 June 1797 Ae 38 years. Weight 5.2gms.

    The condition of this ring is fair to poor, with scratches to the gold and glass surface in keeping with age and wear. Also noticeable abrasion to the pastes. There are fifteen pastes deficient to the surround. There is some small pieces of debris beneath the glass. Inscription shows signs of wear. Ring size O.
