Condition Report

Two items of late Victorian jewellery. To include a 9ct gold split pearl photograph pendant, and a pietra dura bird lapel pin. Pendant may be worn as a brooch. Diameters 2.9 and 2.4cms. Weight of 9ct gold item 5.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Pendant and brooch fittings later addition/alteration.

  • Heavy discolouration to the lapel pin.

  • Split pearls slightly creamy-white to yellowish-white, with pink and green overtones and good to fair lustre.

  • Split pearls in good condition with minor abrasions.
