Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Air-King Date bracelet watch. Circa 1966. Stainless steel case. Reference 5700, serial 1948705. Signed automatic calibre 1520. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 35mm. Box.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial shows some marks. Luminous hour markers show discolouration.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing. Luminous inserts show visible discolouration and marks.
  • Glass has scratches and marks.
  • Case shows light scratches, marks and small dints. Dints most visible to the case back.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has scratches and dints.
  • Bracelet has scratches, marks and stretching to links. Link to the top segment shows some distortion, possible caused by an inner pin being distorted.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows scratches and marks. Clasp shows some wear.

  • Bracelet measures approximately 20cm including case.

    This lot comes with a box. Boxes some some marks, outer box shows some wear. Lot also include a service booklet that may not be related to the watch.
