A gentleman's early 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, to the extended claws and grooved shoulders. Estimated diamond weight 0.40ct, J-K colour, P3 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1930. Ring size Q. Weight 3.7gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • The early 20th century hallmarks is worn and difficult to read, a later hallmark has been applied, for Sheffield, 2011.

  • Diamond bright.

  • Diamond shows dark inclusions which can be seen easily under magnification.

  • Diamond has a portion deficient, the surface shows areas of the original rough crystal surface.
