Condition Report

A late 19th century gold citrine pendant. The cushion-shape citrine, within a cannetille surround. Length 3.5cms. Weight 9.6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Piece appears to have a high gilding.
  • replacement 9ct gold bale.
  • Localised scratches and discolouration to the back of the pendent.
  • Some areas of the delicate cannetille are partially misshaped.
  • The citrine is a light brownish-yellow hue, with typical colour zoning.
  • Citrine has light surface scratches and nibbles to the facet edges.
  • Length and weight of pendant does not include the later added surmount clip.
  • Later added surmount clip stamped 9ct, length 1.5cms, weight 0.7gm.
