A cameo brooch.

Condition Report

A cameo brooch. Of oval outline, the carved shell depicting the portrait of a Ceres the goddess of agriculture, with wheatsheaf to her hair and a scythe, to the plain surround. Marks indicating gold. Length 5.5cms. Weight 20gms.

Purchasing information
    The condition of this lot is good to fair, with surface scratches and dints to the shell and metal in keeping with age and wear. The mount has a dent to the left-hand edge. There is an area of dark discolouration to the mount to the same side front and reverse. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
