Description

Condition Report

Please note: When placing absentee bids, your bids will be rounded up to the nearest bid increment. For more information click the 'Important Notices for Purchasers' button above.

Purchasing information
The condition of the hatpins is good, with signs of wear to the surface in keeping with age. The black spheres, which are believed to be black lacquer, have light surface chips and slightly heavier wear to the lacquer on the suspended spheres. All of the metal inlay is present to the tortoiseshell pins with small areas to both sides lifting slightly to the larger pin. There is some discolouration to the pins to all. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
