A Georgian gold ivory and enamel mourning ring. The marquise-shape ivory, with sepia monogram PR, suspended from a garland swag, to the white enamel and script band 'Peter Ramsey Ob: 27 Oct 1781 Ae 48'. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Small chips and minor losses to the enamel.
- Slightly deeper scratches to reverse or ring head.
- Glue or glue-like substance to middle of the ivory panel, possible fine cracks.
- Length of ring head 2.4cms.
