Condition Report

A selection of mostly early 19th century gold jewellery. To include an early 19th century kite-shape brooch engraved with an American Civil War figure and engraved to reverse 'Edw'd Wright', an early 19th century turquoise surmount loop with tri-colour thistle, clover and rose surround, together with a ship panel, buckle and scarf clip. Total weight 10.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Length of pin 2.8cms.
  • Pin with base metal pin hinge, possible slight wea to corvers of kite-shape.
  • Early 19th century buckle length 2.8cms.
  • Length of surmount 1.6cms. Loop and hook fitting to reverse.
  • Discolouration, some dents to reverse, possible replacement gem.
  • Scarf clip stamped 15ct to afixed panel.
  • Length of scarf clip 2.7cms.
  • Ship panel stamped 9, 375. Length 1.8cms.
  • Turquoise is a slightly mottled, moderately greenish blue hue.
  • Turquoise in fair condition with minor abrasions, small chip at edge.
