Condition Report
A mid 19th century gold foil-back garnet and gem-set pendant. The circular turquoise cabochon and rose-cut diamond star, inset to the circular foil-back garnet cabochon, with glazed locket reverse and shaped foil-back garnet cabochon surmount. Length 4cms. Weight 22.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Wear to mounts, possible replacement gems.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Turquoise is a medium slightly greenish blue hue. Typical small matrix inclusions. Garnets are assumed foil back and appear a deep red hue.
- Stones in good condition with mostly minor abrasions, the larger garnet with some deeper scratches.
