Condition Report

A Burmese ruby and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape Burmese ruby, within a circular-cut diamond border. Accompanied by report number 57764894, dated 10th March 2016, from The Gemmological Certification Services, stating the ruby is of Burmese origin, has no indication of heating, pink red colour, approximate ruby weight 2.20cts, approximate ruby dimensions: 7.3 by 7.4 by 4.8mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Ring size N. Weight 3.7gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Diamonds well matched. Nibbles to edges of of some diamonds.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Ruby has some feathers to the edges of the stone. Nibbles to edge of ruby, together with some fine surface nibbles.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 18c.
