A late 19th century gold enamel mourning brooch. The rectangular-shape woven hair panel, within a black enamel surround reading 'In memory of' with personal engraving to the reverse. Length 3cms. Weight 7.4gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Scratches and areas of discolouration to the surround of the hair panel.
  • A few visible chips to the black enamel.
  • Personal engraving to reverse reads 'Wm D Taunton and his son Jn Josh Taunton'.
