A late 19th century split pearl heart locket. The pave-set split pearl heart, with rose-cut diamond star highlight, opening to reveal a double-sided glazed panel, suspended from a replacement spilt pearl surmount. Length 3.1cms. Weight 5.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Dents to the reverse of locket.
- Locket stiff but does open.
- Surmount is replacement.
- Rose-cut diamond star is possible later addition.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Split pearls with cream body colour, nacre damage and chalky lustre.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
