Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. Watch can be manually wound only. Date function is not currently working and will require attention
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Rotor is detached from the movement. This will require attention. In addition the rotor contacts the plates as it rotates and causes wear via abrasion.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Luminous dots have lifted in the majority and pieces of the luminous insert are free floating in the case. Some marks have been left on the dial from the luminous material.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Luminous insert on the minute hand has a crack forming down the centre, the hands appear to be later replacement hands.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Serial numbers have been removed, this appears to have been intentional. We do not trust the reference number remaining numbering on this watch to be accurate or factual.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links. Bracelet is missing one of the 501B end links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks. Clasp functions when the fold down lock is engaged, however the clasp has been battered and the fit is not secure. It is suggested that this clasp would not stay secure during regular wear in its current state and this will require intervention or replacement.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 18cm including case.

This lot does not come with box or papers.
