Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Submariner bracelet watch. Circa 1950's. Stainless steel case with calibrated bezel. Reference 5508, serial 763112. Signed automatic calibre 1530. Black dial with luminous hour markers. Fitted to a signed stainless steel Oyster bracelet with Oysterclasp. 37mm. Box and papers.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial is refinished.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 17.5cm including case.

    This lot comes with a box with noticeable wear and papers to consist of a guarantee dated 19.08.1962.
