Condition Report

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Datejust bracelet watch. Circa 1973. Stainless steel case with diamond set yellow metal bezel. Reference 1601, serial 3852183. Signed automatic calibre 1570. Champagne dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed bi-metal Jubilee bracelet with stainless steel Oysterclasp. 36mm. Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • We have been unable to gain access to the movement to be able to report its condition.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches. Scuffing has planed the corner of the acrylic between twelve and two, what appears to be an impact mark is between five and six.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Third party afterset bezel.
  • Crown screws down and has light scratches and marking.
  • Bracelet is in a poor condition, with heavy wear and signs of stretching, twisting or distortion of the links.
  • Clasp is currently poorly functioning and shows visible scratches and marks, clasp requires only very light pressure before it will open.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 18.5cm including case.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
