Condition Report

An emerald and diamond three-stone ring. The octagonal emerald, between old-cut diamonds, with a tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.90ct, I-K colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Ring size L. Weight 2.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Band shows evidence of resize.

  • Settings worn some claws deficient, may require attention.

  • Emerald fairly bright medium yellowish-green, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright.

  • Light coloured inclusions can be seen to the diamonds very easily under magnification.

  • Emerald in fairly poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Diamonds in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 18ct.
