An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a split pearl surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 5.4gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
- Width of brooch 2.3cms
- Dimensions of amethyst 13.65 by 16.9 by 8.7mms.
- Amethyst medium slight pinkish purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Amethyst with chip to facet edge visible without magnification.
- Pearls with slight yellowish white lustre.
- With safety chain/clasp.
- Stamped 9ct.
