An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a split pearl surround. Length 2.9cms. Weight 5.4gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Width of brooch 2.3cms

  • Dimensions of amethyst 13.65 by 16.9 by 8.7mms.
  • Amethyst medium slight pinkish purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Amethyst with chip to facet edge visible without magnification.

  • Pearls with slight yellowish white lustre.

  • With safety chain/clasp.

  • Stamped 9ct.
