A topaz and diamond dragonfly brooch.

Condition Report

A topaz and diamond novelty brooch. Designed as a dragonfly, with aquamarine collet abdomen, to the aquamarine and diamond textured wings. Length 3.5cms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The front legs are damaged and sharp at the ends.
  • Some stones in the wings are replacements.
  • A small hairline crack near the bottom of the abdomen.
  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Aquamarines in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Majority are a very pale blue.

  • Weight 3.6gms. Metal untested.
